Kayak and Water Sports
The Deuco Quarries, a former mining excavation that is now a lake of emerald waters surrounded by rock walls, are the favorite setting for non-motorized water sports.
What to do
- Stand Up Paddle (SUP): Ideal thanks to the total absence of currents or waves.
- Kayak: Paddle along the impressive rock walls of the main quarry.
- Open Water Swimming: In summer the water warms up enough for long-distance swimmers.
Safety Rules
- Motorized craft are prohibited (boats, jet skis).
- Life jacket use is mandatory.
- Swimming areas are marked and separated from boats.
