By Car:From Route 5 South, enter through the Collipulli junction (Route 182) or through Renaico (Route 180) coming from Los Ángeles.

By Bus:The Rural and Intercity Bus Terminal is near the city center. Companies such as Turbus, BioBio and JotaEbe run daily services from Santiago and Concepción.

By Plane:La Araucanía Airport (ZCO) in Temuco is 2 hours away (145 km) to the south, and Carriel Sur Airport (CCP) in Concepción is 2.5 hours away (160 km) to the north.

Angol has a continental Mediterranean climate, with very warm summers and cold, rainy winters.

• Summer (Jan-Mar): Sunny days, temperatures between 25°C and 32°C. Ideal for rivers and the Canteras.
• Autumn (Apr-Jun): Spectacular colors in Nahuelbuta. Mushroom foraging season. Cool weather with occasional rain.
• Winter (Jul-Sep): Rainy and cold. Snow in the highlands (Vegas Blancas, National Park). Technical warm clothing required.
• Spring (Oct-Dec): Mild weather. Ideal for trekking and MTB.
